We’re looking for an experienced Proposals Manager to lead the development of high-quality bids and opportunities across our regional and national engineering portfolio. You’ll manage the full opportunity lifecycle — from early engagement and strategy through tender submission, negotiation and award — helping Tilbury Douglas Engineering secure work that meets our growth and margin ambitions.

• Build and manage a robust pipeline across key accounts and new clients
• Develop strategic relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and influencers
• Lead bid strategy, tender preparation, client presentations and negotiations
• Coordinate internal teams to deliver best-in-class proposals and settlements
• Use CRM, forecasting and market insight to drive targeted growth
• Champion quality, social value and outstanding customer experience

• Strong technical / engineering background with bid or proposals experience
• Proven ability to manage complex tenders and customer relationships
• Commercial awareness with excellent negotiation and presentation skills
• Highly organised, analytical and comfortable working to deadlines
• Collaborative leader, willing to travel as required
