The Sales Support Associate is integral to a store’s success and efficiency. The role requires a keen focus on our brand commitment while servicing customers, leaving a lasting impression through friendly, efficient interactions at the cash wrap and a well‑maintained sales floor. Accurate and effective work supports the flow of product from receipt through the point of sale—a core responsibility of this position.
CashWrap
- Greet the customer with a smile, eye contact, and share your name.
- Interact genuinely and naturally with the customer.
- Read cues and determine customers’ needs.
- Conduct email/name capture where permitted by law.
- Maintain accuracy when operating the POS.
- Keep the cash wrap organized and clean.
- Suggest multiple add‑ons and sell gift cards.
- Maintain cash and POS media accurately and in compliance with Coach policy.
- Thank customers sincerely and give them a reason to return.
- Represent the Coach brand appropriately.
- Receive shipments and transfers.
- Notify store management when new product arrives.
- Scan cartons/transfers and verify store information.
- Communicate all discrepancies to store management.
- Process shipments/transfers according to Coach standards and time frames.
- Organize and clean the stockroom daily, including any remote warehouse.
- Shift/organize product in the stockroom; react to sell‑through and make room for new product.
- Manage stock levels/product ownership in back‑of‑house and on the sales floor.
- Prepare and conduct regular cycle counts, as directed.
- Participate in store physical inventory counts, as scheduled.
- Maintain company loss‑prevention standards.
- Analyze the sales floor regularly to assess replenishment needs.
- Replenish the sales floor/assigned zone.
- React to sell‑through and execute visual merchandising needs.
- Support sales floor activities, as directed.
- Communicate price points, features/benefits, color, and stock availability to customers.
- Respond to customer requests confidently; partner with the sales team or store management when needed.

1‑3 years of retail experience (cashier/stock, sales, etc.), preferably in a luxury retail environment.
EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
TechnicalKnowledge of cash register systems, basic computer skills (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS, internet), walkie‑talkie, and ability to read price and product release sheets.
PhysicalFast pace; communicate effectively; maneuver sales floor and stockroom; climb, bend, kneel; lift up to 25 lbs routinely and up to 50 lbs when loading shipments.
ScheduleFlexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and high‑traffic sales days.
