- Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting and thanking members
- Provide exceptional customer service to members across the club as needed, answering any questions they may have
- Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area
- Receive & stocking merchandise in an organized manner
- Maintain inventory so that there is no out of stock and over-stock products
- Understands processes and specifications related to quality of various types of produce merchandise (e.g., taste, preparation method or use, seasonality)
- Prepares (trim, crisp, package, scale) products according to established standards
- Maintains product safety and follows sanitation guidelines
- Adheres to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality
- Leverages digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience
- Utilizes handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality
- Adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them
- Drives the performance of the area using digital tools
- Stocks and rotates department products using perpetual inventory management
- Ensures quality and date control standards, eliminates waste
- Guides peers and addresses customer needs in line with company policies
- Advocates for the department and club by valuing the member experience
- Models high quality service and products; demonstrates energy and commitment
Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by applying related action plans; uses the Open Door Policy; and applies these in executing business processes and practices. Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifies priorities and deadlines; communicates progress and information; and adapts to change and feedback.
