Continuum of Colorado is seeking caregivers for our Direct Support Professional (DSP) positions in Castle Rock, CO and surrounding areas. Are you a personable, caring individual who thrives off making a difference in the lives of others? This position is for you! Our caregivers support a variety of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our three‑bed home, implement care plans, and help with daily activities and transportation to community activities.
Enjoy full‑time hours while working just three days a week. We are currently hiring for the 8 AM – 8 PM shifts (days of the week vary). These schedules offer a fantastic work/life balance in a supportive home environment. Part‑time and substitute opportunities are also available. Let’s chat to find a fit that works for you.
Requirements of Caregivers- High school diploma or GED
- One (1) year experience in an area directly related to the job, preferred (e.g., developmental disabilities, elderly)
- Ability to pass and maintain certification in all agency‑required training
- Perform personal care/medical procedures and consistently lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to read, write, and converse in English and perform simple math calculations
- Know how to use the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) at an intermediate level; ability to use Outlook to communicate through email
- Personal vehicle in good operating condition for use during work
- Valid Colorado driver’s license; proof of insurance; 3 years of current, consecutive driving history
- Meet our driving requirements; no suspensions/revocations in the past 3 yrs and no more than 2 tickets in the past 3 yrs

- Train, assure, and assist individuals in completing daily activities and other tasks (cleaning, toileting, meal preparation, meal pick‑up and delivery, cooking, budgeting, hygiene, etc.)
- Meet individuals’ needs for transportation (may include driving or assisting in accessing transportation)
- Implement and document individuals’ ISSPs, care plans and protocols
- Carry out scheduled community activities (transports, provides supervision)
- Assist with medicationsi.e., administration, pill packing, monitoring) as certified, and document as appropriate
- Monitor health needs of individuals and assist in obtaining health care as needed Provide medical care in accordance with established protocols, including First Aid/CPR when needed
- Document program, incident, medical and financial information as required
- Use web‑based computer programs to document medication administrations

Salary Description
$20 / hourly + monthly $60 stipend
