Fleet Valley Care Home, located on the edge of the charming rural town of Gatehouse of Fleet, is thoughtfully designed to support small group living and a true sense of community. We provide high-quality nursing care and comfortable accommodation for up to 43 residents, all within a warm and supportive environment that feels like home. We are proud to hold an outstanding rating of 10 and Care Inspectorate grades of 5, 5, 5, 4, and 5, reflecting our commitment to excellence in care and resident wellbeing.

• £20.50 per hour
• Contracted to 40 hours per week – (2 x 12 hour shifts on the floor & 2 x 8 hour shifts supernumerary)

• Lead Clinical Care:
  Oversee and drive the clinical care for our residents, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care tailored to their needs.
• Enhance Resident
  
  Experience:
  
  Ensure our residents and their loved ones feel safe, supported, and well‑cared for, from assessment through to daily living.
• Dynamic Role:
  Embrace the variety of daily interactions with residents, their families, healthcare professionals, and the local community, making a meaningful impact with your skills and passion.
• Support & Training:
  Lead and support your team, offering further training and development to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
• Step In as Needed:
  Confidently step in for the Home Manager when required, demonstrating your leadership and adaptability.

• Qualified Nurse: RGN or RMN qualified, bringing strong clinical skills and expertise.
• Experience with the Elderly:
  Previous experience working with elderly residents is advantageous, helping you connect with and understand their unique needs.

  Proven experience in leading and managing a team, with the ability to inspire and guide staff.
• Supportive Approach:
  Ability to support staff with further training and development, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Adaptable Leader:
  Confidence to step in for the Home Manager as needed, showcasing your leadership and problem‑solving abilities.
