Location: North West Leicestershire

Brief Description

To carry out the installation of services within the retail, commercial and industrial sector. The role requires the individual to comply with project‑specific site safety rules, whilst managing their own safety needs, to meet the Integral Health and Safety Policy. The individual will be required to carry out the works to the Customer and Design brief and deliver the project installation on programme.

Responsibilities
  • Installation of copper pipework and materials using welding equipment
  • Installation of water‑cooled pipework using map‑press tooling
  • Keep a brief site diary on a project‑by‑project basis, giving a description of system works, works carried out and area of works; submit the diary to the branch monthly
  • Maintain excellent service levels at all times, ensuring a “first class” service to all customers
  • Take on projects as and when required and see them through to successful completion
  • Promote Integral positively to other employees, customers, suppliers and externally
  • Oversee installation standards from within the projects department
  • Identify means of generating extra revenue through new initiatives (forward‑thinking)
  • Treat colleagues, managers, customers and other stakeholders equally and with courtesy and respect at all times
  • Lead the installation and coordinate site‑based work for both Integral Installation Engineers and sub‑contractors
  • Manage own training and renewal of training; ensure the branch coordinator is informed of imminent expiry of any training requirement
  • Assist others with tasks outside the scope of your role whenever possible
  • Co‑ordinate coaching of other colleagues/managers for cross‑training in your area of expertise
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant company and legislative policies and best practices at all times
  • Inform the relevant manager of non‑conformances and ensure corrective action is taken
  • Carry out site‑specific risk assessments prior to works; submit reports to the branch monthly
  • Report near‑misses and accidents to the branch
  • Ensure PPE is fit for purpose and worn at all times; request new PPE via the branch as needed
  • Keep all PAT testing of electrical equipment up to date; arrange PAT tests and inform the branch coordinator of due items
  • Carry out van weighing at least twice a year, scheduled by the branch coordinator
  • Calibrate all gauges and equipment; maintain certificates and send copies to the branch
  • Maintain a file of all Integral standard risk assessments and task procedures in the van, with copies of all training certifications
  • Keep copies of all pressure test regulations and customer‑specific pressure test details; issue pressure test certificates upon completion and provide to the branch weekly
  • Ensure compliance with all internal procedures within your remit
  • Uphold refrigeration industry codes and standards
  • Comply with Integral’s environmental policies and propose new ideas for improving environmental efficiencies
  • Adhere to Group H&S procedures while balancing business constraints and efficiency
