Job Role & Key Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, youll join a large, energetic engineering team supporting a heavy, automated manufacturing site. Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment such as conveyors, mixers, ovens, and kilns
• Supporting a fast-paced, industrial environment that is physically demanding
• Performing routine and reactive maintenance across site machinery
• Participating in daily handovers and shift-based engineering support
• Contributing to a collaborative team culture focused on efficiency and reliability

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Strong mechanical maintenance background, ideally from heavy industry, aerospace, or FMCG
• Experience with hydraulics and basic welding
• A proactive, get-stuck-in attitude and willingness to work in tough environments
• Ability to thrive in a large, team-oriented setting
• Open to candidates from various manufacturing sectors
• Experience working in automated production environments
• Flexibility to cover additional hours as needed
• Strong communication and team collaboration
