Maintenance Engineer

Position: Maintenance Engineer (Permanent)
Location: North West Leicestershire

T&K Associates have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join our Client in Ashby-de-la-Zouch on a permanent basis!

As the Maintenance Engineer, you will carry out planned predictive and preventative maintenance on a range of production machinery as well as responding to breakdowns to minimise changes to site operations.

Maintenance Engineer Job Details;

* Provide a maintenance service which covers electrical and mechanical disciplines

* Manage routine, preventative, and planned maintenance of the machinery

* Perform modifications and installations

* Respond to emergency breakdowns including finding and fixing faults to reduce downtime

* Maintain a good standard of housekeeping

* Be responsible for the care and safekeeping of all tools and materials

* Maintain the engineering store

* Supervise on-site contractors and arrange work permits

* Work to heights of approximately 12 meters

* Complete any other associated tasks as required

Maintenance Engineer Person Specification;

* Previous working experience within a maintenance environment

* Mechanical and Electrical fault-finding diagnosis and resolution

* Ability to work on single and three phase machinery

* Electrical 17th/ Electrical 18th Edition test and inspection is desirable

* Have an understanding of Atex and its limitations is desirable

* Basic welding and fabrication experience is desirable

* Experience of SEMA-compliant racking inspections and maintenance is desirable

* IPAF or working at heights equivalent is desirable
