Fire Sprinkler Service Foreman

This position is responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems. The foreman leads 2–3 person crews to oversee work on customer sites.

• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on sprinkler fire systems.
• Service and inspect wet, dry, and pre‑action systems.
• Inspect, maintain, repair, or replace fire sprinkler equipment and systems in strict accordance with applicable codes and standards.
• Interact with customers in a mature and professional manner.
• Provide advanced level technical assistance for team members and customers as needed.
• Teach trade skills to advancing apprentices/helpers.
• Complete detailed inspection reports, documenting issues and reporting results of work completed accurately and timely.
• Protect and maintain company equipment.
• Inspect and maintain the truck and all related equipment, submitting repair requests as necessary to maintain safe operation.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including vehicles, in a way that facilitates loading and unloading of the truck while observing all safety regulations and manufacturer’s safety instructions.
• Work in a safe manner as outlined by company safety procedures, including driver safety and personal protective equipment.
• Respond to emergency service calls.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

• At least 5 years of experience with fire sprinkler systems preferred.
• Advanced working knowledge of NFPA 13 and NFPA 25.
• Experience with commercial and residential systems.
• Skilled operation of sprinkler trade equipment (impact wrenches, band saws, measuring devices, fitting take‑outs, manual lifting devices, grooving machines, threading machines, powered industrial lifting devices).
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Flexible scheduling, including occasional evenings, weekends, and out‑of‑town assignments.
• Ability to act in a lead capacity.

• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; occasionally required to lift and/or move heavy objects.
• Requires balancing, climbing, grasping, hearing, mental acuity, pulling, pushing, repetitive motion, speaking, talking, and visual acuity.
