We are seeking a skilled Commercial Kitchen Equipment and Refrigeration Technician to maintain our state-of-the-art kitchens and onsite bakeries. Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial kitchen appliances, refrigeration systems, and HVAC equipment across our 9 million square foot campus. Your expertise will help prevent equipment failures and support seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, and commercial cooking equipment
- Install, calibrate, and optimize kitchen ventilation and appliance systems
- Conduct preventive maintenance and safety inspections
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, refrigeration, gas, and electrical safety standards
- Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to resolve technical issues
- Refrigeration:
Walk-in coolers/freezers, blast chillers, ice machines - Cooking Equipment:
Commercial ovens, fryers, steam kettles, tilt skillets - Ventilation & HVAC:
Exhaust hoods, rooftop HVAC units, make-up air systems - Dishwashing & Sanitation:
High-capacity dishwashers, automated sanitation systems

Minimum Requirements- CFC Universal Certification
- EPA 608 certification
- Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
- Willing to relocate to Madison, WI
- COVID-19 vaccination
- At least 3 years of experience in:
- Commercial kitchen equipment service and repair
- Refrigeration system installation and service
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Gas-fired equipment and piping
