ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards for all Energy Solutions’ construction projects, including processes and procedures that are consistent, scalable, and repeatable for any project dependent upon size, scope, and location.
  • Interpret, build upon, and ensure compliance of all quality standards, and confirm they are effectively being followed both internally and by all contractors and subcontractors performing work on Energy Solutions’ projects.
  • Maintain QA documentation and records during all stages of each project, and ensure all data is accurate and substantiated to meet any quality audits.
  • Document and report process or product quality issues. Manage any issues that arise from nonconformance, including investigation and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Assist and support all on-site quality assurance efforts, including regular audits and inspections, material verification, and test witnessing.
  • Support and coordinate with other Energy Solutions’ departments through all stages of the construction lifecycle, including identifying areas for improvement, suggesting solutions, and resolving any quality issues.
  • Conduct internal audits of QA processes, and implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives.
  • Manage multiple projects, working with local contractors and governing agencies, to ensure all necessary regulations and standards are met and documentation is compiled.
  • Provide training as needed on quality protocols and best practices, as well as update on any changes to industry regulations and internal processes.
  • Assist in further development and maintenance of the Quality Assurance Manual (QAM) to meet recognized QA standards.
  • Prepare quality reports for management review.
  • Review specific EPC Agreements for each project to ensure Energy Solutions remains in compliance with quality, documentation, and reporting requirements.
  • Track Energy Solutions tools and equipment, ensuring calibration is current. Ensure contractors’ equipment and methods meet all regulatory standards.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS
  • Professionally represent the company in appearance, positive attitude, and work habits.
  • Remain current with industry trends and best practices.
  • Frequent travel will be required with this position. Amount of travel will vary, but potentially could occur on a weekly basis.
  • Promote a positive safety culture to complement quality standards throughout all project phases.
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required. May substitute applicable work experience, training, and education.
  • Must have prior experience in managing projects.
  • Must have prior experience in developing programs and procedures.
  • Previous experience in a quality assurance role is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of power generation or construction is preferred.

PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Normal office work, including prolonged walking, sitting and standing.

Use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation.

Occasional work in elevated positions, climbing, bending, stooping and squatting.

Safely operate an automobile and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Use of all personal protective equipment.

Travel to Energy Solutions’ sites on a regular basis.

Overnight travel required.
