Utility Technician

Our Casper, WY location is looking to hire a Utility Technician! This position is responsible for assisting in dismantling and reassemble basic motors. The Utility Technician acts as a floater through departments filling in as needed.

Here's What You'll Do:

* Assist with the dismantling and reassembly motors.

* Clean parts as directed.

* Operate various pieces of equipment including a buffer, hand and air tools, sand blasting, forklifts and hoists.

* Transport parts as needed between departments.

* Provide general cleaning and maintenance support in shop.

* Assist mechanics and other departments in skilled and non-skilled duties as directed by shop management.

* Follow established procedures/work instructions for assigned function.

* Handle materials in accordance with established procedures.

* Work in a timely manner to ensure customer needs are fulfilled and deadlines are met. Work at a pace that meets expected productivity goals.

Here's What You'll Need:

* High school diploma or equivalent is required.

* One (1) year of hands-on mechanical experience preferred.

* Ability to perform basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

* Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple written and verbal instructions.

* Ability to understand, perform, and retain various job related training, operational, and safety procedures.

* Ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and decision making related to routine duties within set company standards.

* Ability to operate overhead cranes, fork lift trucks, and other equipment.

* Ability to wear respirator.
