Commercial Garage Door Department Manager

The Commercial Garage Door Department Manager is responsible for overseeing commercial operations, managing technicians, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and profitably. This role requires the ability to run commercial jobs
, troubleshoot doors and operators
, and train new technicians as the department grows.

• Manage and lead the commercial garage door department (currently 1-2 technicians, with plans to grow)
• Schedule and dispatch technicians for service calls and commercial projects
• Work directly with customers, contractors, and vendors
• Prepare and review estimates, bids, and work orders
• Troubleshoot commercial garage doors and operators in the field
• Run commercial jobs from start to finish when needed
• Train and mentor new technicians to help expand the department
• Manage inventory, tools, equipment, and vendor relationships
• Ensure safety compliance and adherence to company and industry standards
• Maintain organization of schedules, jobs, documentation, and workflow

• Minimum 5 years of garage door experience, with strong commercial experience
• Previous management or supervisory experience required
• Ability to troubleshoot commercial doors and operators
• Proven ability to run commercial jobs independently
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Comfortable working both in the office and in the field
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Willingness to relocate to Casper, Wyoming
