Provide comprehensive financial counseling and management services to service members and families, including briefings, presentations, and referrals. Coordinate with installation points of contact to ensure services align with needs.

• Deliver personal financial counseling, including one‑on‑one sessions and group workshops across the military lifecycle.
• Assist service members in developing spending plans for extended absences.
• Create and distribute informational financial materials for members and families.
• Publicize and conduct personal financial management classes and workshops.
• Respond to requests for age‑appropriate classes or seminars.
• Use virtual counseling or other electronic communication methods where authorized.
• Manage duty‑to‑warn situations per DoD protocol.
• Communicate with leadership and participate in regular supervision and training.
• Participate in quality‑improvement committees and other contract activities as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned contributing to program effectiveness.

• Bachelor’s degree required (associate degree + 4 years experience or high school diploma + 6 years experience considered).
• Minimum 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• U.S. citizen and fluent in English (bilingual English/Spanish possible if contract requires).
• Tier 2 investigation and OCI process clearance.
• Certifications:
  
  Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
• Valid driver’s license and willing to travel within a military installation as needed.

High School / GED.

$53,125–$84,995 (base salary); additional incentives and benefits may apply.
