Description
Reports to: Operations Supervisor or Manager
The Lead position is responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities of VRC employees or contractors working on a project to ensure seamless operations.
The Lead works closely with the team to monitor performance, ensure availability of work equipment, and maintain a healthy work environment.
Responsibilities include assessing worker performance, enforcing company policies, maintaining work records, providing feedback, drafting shift schedules, and verifying adherence to schedules.
Requirements:
- Good team and leadership skills
- Ability to follow instructions and manage temperament
- Multitasking ability
- Knowledge of record keeping
- Ability to handle warehouse operations including loading, unloading, packing, and forwarding items
- Experience in driving/operating company vehicles and equipment
- Maintain a tidy warehouse and handle shipping paperwork
- Support inventory management and order processing
