What You'll Do:
- Perform transactional AR entries.
- Perform advanced data entry into multiple accounting systems.
- Review and validate data entries.
- Perform complex account reconciliations.
- Utilize and analyze data reporting.
- Draft and create standard operating procedures and workflows.
- Work with internal and external customers to resolve questions and problems.
Required Education, Experience and/or Abilities
- A high school diploma and two (2) or more years of experience in an accounting environment; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
- Understanding of accounting principles.
- Skilled in oral and written communication.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as invoices, computer reports and accounts receivable or accounts payable reports.
- Ability to mathematically calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook software applications.
- Understanding of basic database programs.
- Ability to use 10-key by touch.
- Proficient data entry.
- Ability to operate a copier, fax machine and scanner.
- English language fluency, verbal and written.
- Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check, credit check and drug/alcohol test.
