- Assist in collection efforts by making telephone and email contact with assigned customers on past due invoices on a monthly basis.
- Research/Call customers regarding unapplied payments and short paid invoices, and assist with reconciling and balancing customer accounts.
- Provide high level of customer service as needed (లనడ invoıce questions, account reconciliations, resolving disputes, etc.)
- Provide additional information as needed to ensure prompt payment, including freight backup, lost invoices, statements, delivery receipts and purchase order copies.
- Special handling of invoices, statements and purchase orders.
- Promptly and professionally handle customer calls, questions and complaints.
- Submit invoices to various governmental entities for timely processing and payment.
- Submit invoices to customers via email and a wide spectrum of invoicing portals.
- Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years credit experience handling large or small accounts.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Minimum of 1 year in customer service.
- Excellent phone, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficient in utilizing technology and Personal Computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word/Outlook) with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Competent with basic accounting principles and experienced with auditable cash application processes.
- Knowledge of purchase orders, invoices, and statements.

- Additional training with UCC codes, collections, and computer knowledge very helpful.
- Operate basic office equipment such as computer, copy machines, ten key calculator, and the telephone.
- Office environment requiring professional dress and appearance.
- Usual working hours are 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.
- Sit for 6-8 hours.
- Walk/stand for 0-2 hours.
- Occasionally lift Ownership to 25 pounds.
