  • Assist in collection efforts by making telephone and email contact with assigned customers on past due invoices on a monthly basis.
  • Research/Call customers regarding unapplied payments and short paid invoices, and assist with reconciling and balancing customer accounts.
  • Provide high level of customer service as needed (లనడ invoıce questions, account reconciliations, resolving disputes, etc.)
  • Provide additional information as needed to ensure prompt payment, including freight backup, lost invoices, statements, delivery receipts and purchase order copies.
Additional Functions
  • Special handling of invoices, statements and purchase orders.
  • Promptly and professionally handle customer calls, questions and complaints.
  • Submit invoices to various governmental entities for timely processing and payment.
  • Submit invoices to customers via email and a wide spectrum of invoicing portals.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years credit experience handling large or small accounts.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with general accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Minimum of 1 year in customer service.
  • Excellent phone, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in utilizing technology and Personal Computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word/Outlook) with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Competent with basic accounting principles and experienced with auditable cash application processes.
  • Knowledge of purchase orders, invoices, and statements.
  • Types 40 words per minute.
  • Understanding of banking procedures.
  • With
Preferred
  • Finance related professional certifications and/or some college is beneficial.
  • Additional training with UCC codes, collections, and computer knowledge very helpful.
Physical / Environmental Requirements
  • Operate basic office equipment such as computer, copy machines, ten key calculator, and the telephone.
  • Office environment requiring professional dress and appearance.
  • Usual working hours are 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.
  • Sit for 6-8 hours.
  • Walk/stand for 0-2 hours.
  • Occasionally lift Ownership to 25 pounds.
  • Operate a company vehicle requiring a valid driver’s license (driving record must meet Contributors Co., all
