Job Description and Responsibilities- Operate forklifts to load and position vehicles inside containers.
- Secure vehicles and ensure proper weight distribution for safe transport.
- Inspect forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Report incidents or unsafe conditions immediately.
- Perform safety checks before and after each operation (including forklift and work area checklist).
- Coordinate with the team to ensure proper alignment and securing of vehicles.
- Assist with loading/unloading other materials as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Valid forklift certification/license required.
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operating experience (preferably in a shipping or logistics environment).
- Knowledge of preventive inspections for forklifts.
- Ability to work in a team and follow strict safety protocols.
- Experience maneuvering in tight spaces with precision.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and safety standards.
- Reliable and punctual with good communication skills.
