Join the Diesel Mechanic team at WM and help maintain over 20 million customers across the USA. You’ll work in a repair shop at our Casa Grande, AZ site and use modern tools and standard labor repair times.

• Starting salary $27–$35 per hour

The normal setting for this job is a repair / maintenance shop at our Casa Grande, AZ hauling site.

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on diesel vehicles and equipment.
• Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts.
• Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
• Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
• Conduct safety checks on vehicles.
• Complete required paperwork and document parts usage.
• Assist senior mechanics on project work.
• Review and complete or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards.

• 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Over 18 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Successfully complete and pass pre‑employment drug screening and physical.

Requires frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing; constant standing, walking, and grasping; occasional sitting and balancing. May be exposed to cuts, burns, toxic chemicals, noises, heat, and humidity.
