Application Tips
Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate birth control needs of client with consideration of physiological, psychological, social, and environmental factors.
- Mandatory reporting of sexual and physical abuse per protocol and nursing guidelines.
- Provide accurate information for smoking cessation, overall healthcare, nutrition, and pre‑natal education.
- Teach based on Arizona Family Health Partnership guidelines. Distribute and administer birth control method as prescribed and conduct quarterly family planning clinic audits.
- Collect potentially infectious specimens and maintain safety precautions.
- Provide teaching and comfort to initial HIV positive clients and prepare for results from state.
- Order, maintain, store, and administer appropriate vaccines for adults and children from appropriate private and public lots.
- Teach per guidelines from CDC, ADHS, and VFC programs.
- Perform monthly clinic audits.
- Work with case managers to follow proper protocols to maintain grant status.
- Maintain supplies and anticipate needs of clinic for seasonal requirements of the community.
