Lactalis US Yogurt, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Maintenance Supervisor based in Casa Grande, AZ.

The Maintenance Supervisor will carry out responsibilities in collaboration with the Maintenance Manager to develop, manage, and lead a world-class maintenance organization toward maintaining the Company’s long-term competitiveness. The role requires strong team building, people management, leadership, and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (face to face, written, and presentation), along with excellent external and internal cross-functional communications. This role requires a proactive approach and ownership mindset, and will collaborate with maintenance staff, production staff, and processing staff to align duties with the company’s goals and values.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

• Advance training and abilities within the maintenance staff
• Oversee/train in electrical troubleshooting
• Oversee major repairs and service of all production and facility equipment
• Project management of new production equipment and improvements
• Siemens programming and additions to PLC processes
• Organize service of equipment by outside vendors
• Planning of all shutdown services to be done by maintenance staff
• Oversee parts inventory and ordering
• Participate and implement in plant safety procedures
• Responsible for 24 hour on-call and scheduling personnel accordingly
• Participate in QA improvements
• Reduce cost by improving a regimented PM schedule
• In-depth knowledge of processing technologies
• Coordinate with production all service work on production and process equipment
• Assure successful audits in the maintenance area
• Troubleshoot and repair all failures
• Work with production to decrease downtime
• Work with Asst. Manager on all manpower scheduling needs
• Implement corrective measures with regard to quality improvement
• Work with production on all wastewater needs
• Monitor RO and DAF systems
• Work within budgetary parameters
• Work to improve production level by improving efficiency levels

Supervisory Responsibilities

The incumbent is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of three maintenance technicians in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
