Controls Technician – Day Shift – 6pm to 6am
Join a high‑performing maintenance team where you’ll work with advanced automation, solve complex electrical challenges, and play a critical role in keeping a major manufacturing operation running safely and efficiently.
What You’ll Work On- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical equipment, power systems, lighting, controls, and PLC logic.
- Work hands-on with 24V–600V power, automation controllers, VFDs, sensors, and inspection devices.
- Perform preventive maintenance to keep systems reliable and reduce downtime.
- Use diagnostic tools like voltage testers, ammeters, oscilloscopes, vibration analyzers, and laser measurement equipment.
- Lead, guide, and train team members; document and communicate shift activities clearly.
- Support production across packaging, processing, filling, warehousing, and facilities.
- Respond quickly to equipment issues, troubleshoot I/O systems, and partner with operations to maintain uptime.
- Participate in electrical upgrades and oversee contractor work.
- Ensure safety and compliance with FDA, OSHA, and company standards.
- Stay current on technology through training and vendor programs.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Knowledge of electricity, electrical theory, PLCs, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to work safely in electrical panels up to 480 volts
- Proficiency in reading schematics and wiring diagrams
- Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Technical training preferred

Position Details- Shift: 12-hour Night Shift (6:00pm – 6:00am)
- Schedule:
Every other weekend off with a consistent 4-week rotation
Sample Rotation:
- Week 1:
Wed & Thurs (12 hrs) - Week 2:
Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun (12 hrs) - Week 3:
Same as Week 1 - Week 4:
Same as Week 2

The base pay for this position is $20.85 – $41.75 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
