Progressive Health is thrilled to announce an opening for a proactive and driven FT or PRN EMT to provide onsite response to emergency needs and care for employees at a large manufacturing facility in Casa Grande, AZ. What will you be doing in this role?

  • Provide first aid level of care for all work-related injuries onsite
  • Identifies and responds to medical emergencies according to on-site protocols
  • Communicates and documents medical situations as per company policies
  • Assists with miscellaneous calls and initiates incident reports
  • Manages inventory to ensure adequate supplies
  • Conducts checks on site-wide medical equipment
  • Monitors safety and reports issues to the Environment, Health, & Safety (EH) team
  • Provides follow-up care for injuries within scope
  • Conducts drug screens and surveillances as required
  • Assists medical clinic staff as needed
  • Maintains medical records securely

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • The required state licensure, certification, and registration that is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensure prior to the start of employment
  • CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain it prior to the start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s) prior to the start of employment
  • The ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout entire assigned shift
  • A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
