* Job Duties:
*** Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs for multinational computational software company.
* Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
* Utilize graduate-level research and analysis skills to implement assigned firmware features and work closely with verification and validation team to ensure the functionality and robustness of the implemented features.
* Support validation team during electrical and system validation and characterization.
* Assist in the documentation of the firmware development processes.
* Update technical manuals.
* Support Product Engineering team during customer deployment of firmware and IP.
* Some telecommuting permitted.

* Qualifications:
*** Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
* Minimum two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
* Build system level prototype control software to develop and validate adaptation, equalization, and control algorithms for high-speed serial synchronous and asynchronous wireline communication
* Design, develop and test embedded software for high-speed communications (I2C,SPI) and control algorithm for bare metal and RTOS embedded systems
* Validate and debug the implemented high-speed communication control functions on silicon
* Advance embedded software prototype and design implementation and firmware optimization for high-speed peripherals
* Complex firmware development using C coding and knowledge of 32-bit micro controller
* Microcontroller peripheral, register level coding and debug, and multi-threaded embedded FW that can do context switching with RTOS##
