Noble Properties is a local company, with roots in the Raleigh area that go back to the 1990s. We own and operate three properties located in Raleigh, Cary, and Garner, totaling 265 apartment homes.
Who Are We Looking For?We are looking for an experienced maintenance technician to become a part of the maintenance team and build upon their property management career. Candidates must have a good work ethic, ability to work on a team, and have the skill sets and qualifications listed below:
- 2+ years of work experience as an apartment maintenance technician
- Ability to pass a background check
- Lives in Wake County
- Valid driver’s license and a reliable form of transportation
- Has a Smartphone
- Reliable Transportation:
Ability to move between properties, pick up supplies from vendors, drive company vehicle, and perform after hours on-call duties. - Smartphone:
Keep your phone in operable condition and on you during the workday and while on-call. Use your mobile phone on the job to contact vendors, coworkers, tenants, etc. The smartphone will also be used to clock in to work and to receive work-orders. - Must be Dependable, Honest, Hard Working, Self-Starting, and Independent. Ability to work with minimal supervision and have excellent time management skills.
- Physical Ability:
Must be able to bend, stoop, sit, stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders, reach, lift, pull, push, balance, crouch, crawl, kneel and lift or carry weight up to 75 pounds. Ability to work in outdoor conditions for prolonged periods and stand for 8 hours. Ability to push and pull an appliance dolly loaded with appliances. - Basic Hand Tools
Required:
Screwdrivers, Hammer, Pliers, Measurement Tape, Wrenches, Hand Saw, Utility Knife, Pry Bars, Staple Guns, Scissors, C-Clamps, Crowbar, Mallet, Level, Gloves.

Knowledge and ability to touch up paint walls, cabinets, ceilings, doors and trim. - Drywall:
Knowledge and ability to install, mud, and repair drywall - Electrical/Appliance:
Basic electrical knowledge and skills - Appliances:
Repair and install the following appliances: refrigerators, dishwashers, electric & gas stoves, microwaves, garbage disposals, electric water heaters
- Vendors:
Assist and supervise vendors and subcontractors while they are on the property. - Unit Turns:
Turning apartments from move-outs to ready units. - Work/Service Orders:
Receive and perform maintenance requests throughout the day. - On Call:
Share 24/7 on-call duties with the maintenance team for emergency maintenance. - Remodeling:
Remodel selected apartments during turns, including replacing bathroom vanities, closet shelving, kitchen cabinets. - Property Upkeep:
Walk the property each working morning for trash and debris. Ensure trash cans on property are changed when needed. Includes dog station trash bags and trash cans. Report hazardous conditions, tenant issues, and suspicious activity to the community manager. - Preventative Maintenance:
Perform preventative maintenance on the property as instructed by the management. - Travel:
Travel between properties when necessary and after hours to perform on-call duties. - Inventory:
Manage inventory at each property. Order inventory and materials for both properties. Keep a neat and organized maintenance shop. - Scheduling:
Schedule and coordinate with vendors. - HVAC:
Charging units, identifying leaks, cleaning condensate drain lines, running new line sets, replacing/repairing condensing units and inside coils. - Carpentry:
Install doors, trim, shelves, countertops, vanities, cabinets. Make repairs. - Electrical/Appliance:
Lighting, wiring, power circuits, replacing switches, etc. - Appliances:
Repair, install refrigerator/dishwasher/stove/microwave/garbage disposal
8:30am to 5pm, Monday–Friday. Unpaid lunch. Work schedule may vary; some overtime may be required as needed to meet business needs. Shared 24/7 on-call duties with the maintenance team.
