As the Field Service Technician, you will be instrumental in delivering these solutions through maintaining, servicing, and repairing office equipment (black‑and‑white, color, and multifunction devices) at customer locations throughout the territory. You will also gain valuable insight into different business units, developing your skills and advancing your career in the process.
What You’ll Be Doing- Providing maintenance, service, repairs, and training efficiently and effectively
- Diagnosing equipment issues and carrying out installations and upgrades
- Making modifications, removing old units, and retrofitting existing hardware
- Completing field calls according to priority while practicing good time management
- Continuously enhancing your technical skills for field assignments
- Rebuilding components at the shop
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- A minimum of one year of experience in technical repair and service of copier/office equipment or related systems
- Advanced education or certification in relevant areas can be used to meet experience requirements
- Demonstrated experience with document management, MFP, and print devices
- Good customer service skills; ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently
- A valid driver’s license and auto insurance coverage for company business
