About the job

The Financial Services Sales Team is looking for a Senior Associate Account Executive to grow SAS’ reach with a variety of Financial Institutions.

As a Senior Associate Account Executive, you will:
  • Sell software, solutions, and services to new and existing customers, partnering with sales, pre-sales, and domain experts to maximize opportunities within your territory.
  • Respond to a variety of information requests from prospective customers and assess the level of opportunity and resources needed.
  • Prospect within assigned accounts or territories to identify and uncover business needs.
  • Manage territory and account development by identifying high-potential accounts, qualifying and advancing opportunities through the sales cycle, and forecasting close timelines using Orion.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales staff and executives to ensure prompt responses to high-value, well-qualified opportunities.
  • Prepare standard quotes and proposals, coordinate with other departments to finalize contracts, and establish delivery schedules for services.
  • Follow up with customers to gauge satisfaction and identify additional revenue opportunities.
  • Develop a foundational understanding of company pricing, licensing procedures, and the approval process.
  • Support account planning by fully utilizing tools such as Account Plans and Opportunity Plans in BASE, and assist senior account executives with research and plan development.

Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, MIS, or other relevant discipline.
  • Requires a minimum of two years of relevant sales experience.
  • Knowledge of basic sales techniques; good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work and learn independently; ability to work effectively in a team environment; ability to travel occasionally; ability to work in a fast paced, high-volume sales environment.
  • Knowledge of SAS products, solutions and services preferred.
