We are hiring an experienced Outside Group Sales & Events Manager to drive group sales, corporate events, and B2B business development. This outside sales role focuses on prospecting new accounts, growing existing relationships, and managing group events from booking through execution.
This position is ideal for candidates with backgrounds in outside sales, hospitality sales, event sales, group sales, or venue sales who enjoy networking, closing deals, and representing a brand in the community.
Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate new group sales and event revenue through outside sales, cold calling, networking, and community outreach
Prospect and close B2B sales with corporate clients, schools, nonprofits, tour operators, and social organizations
Build and maintain long-term client relationships to drive repeat group business
Conduct off-site sales appointments, site tours, and client presentations
Manage group events and bookings from inquiry through event execution
Prepare proposals, contracts, and follow-up communications to close sales
Collaborate with operations and event teams to ensure successful event delivery
Track sales activity, pipeline, and performance using CRM software
Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals and revenue targets
Attend trade shows, networking events, and local business functions
