Discipline DescriptionQuality Assurance personnel develop policies, procedures, and methods to evaluate and improve the quality of products, materials, components and/or operations. They ensure products, services, or processes meet established quality standards and customer requirements. They develop, assure, and maintain the quality of products and processes, including standard procedures, and quality audits/reviews.
TypicalDuties & Responsibilities
Perform Project level NQA-1 Internal Audits. Perform company level and supplier oversight assessments. Efficient communication and writing skills. Must be able to conduct Audit entrance and exit meetings and maintain weekly follow-up meetings with each applicable organization.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in relevant field plus at least five years of experience (YOE) in a relevant role, OR Master's degree in relevant field plus at least two years of experience (YOE), OR Doctoral degree in relevant field
- Equivalencies to experience and education requirements will be considered
- Past Audit and Assessment experience.
- Working knowledge of ASME NQA-1 Quality Assurance Requirements for Nuclear Facility Applications

Security Clearance InformationSRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug & alcohol test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Factors such as pre-employment background review results, dual citizenship status, and unpaid and/or unfiled taxes may impact your ability to obtain a security clearance.
