Seeking a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full-time, on-site urgent care role in North Carolina.
Providers serve as the sole clinical provider, managing acute and episodic patient care independently within established protocols and support systems.
Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients, performing urgent care procedures, ordering and interpreting diagnostics, prescribing medications, and patient education.
The environment supports approximately 3–4 patients per hour with access to on-site diagnostics, EMR, and clinical leadership.
Schedule involves three 12-hour shifts weekly with rotating weekends, no on-call, and flexible scheduling options.
Compensation ranges from $55–$70/hour, plus incentives, with benefits such as insurance, 401(k), malpractice coverage, student loan assistance, PTO, CME allowance, and holiday pay.
Qualifications include North Carolina licensure, BLS/ACLS, and preferred urgent care or emergency medicine experience. Opportunities for growth include mentorship, protocol development, and cross-location shifts within a growing multi-state network.
