Overview
Our affiliate, Unified Women’s Healthcare of the Carolinas, is looking for a Certified Nurse Midwife to join their Womens Health Care Center in Cary, NC. Certified nurse midwife (CNM) is responsible for working closely with both gynecologic and obstetric patients, assisting in births, and providing health care to women post-pregnancy. The CNM will assist with prenatal care, labor, delivery, and postpartum care, and may also provide reproductive care, treatment, and education to female patients.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with gynecologic and obstetric patients; assist in births and provide comprehensive care to women post-pregnancy.
- Provide prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care; offer reproductive care, treatment, and education as appropriate.
- Work within an established practice to deliver patient-centered care with a team approach.
- Join an established and successful practice that has served patients in the Raleigh Metro area for over 30 years
- The practice team includes 6 OB/GYN physicians, 2 nurse practitioners, 2 certified nurse midwives, plus strong support staff
- Office locations in Cary and Morrisville
- 3 clinic days per week
- Clinic patient volume: 15-20 per day
- 1 day per week of call with Saturday and Sundays counted as normal days

- AMCB Certified Nurse-Midwife
- Graduate of a nurse-midwifery education program accredited by ACME
- Master's degree in Nursing (MS/MSN)
- Active and unrestricted state RN license
- CPR and NALS Certification
- Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
- 3 years of full-time CNM experience
