Job description:

We are looking for a Telehealth Registered Nurse to join our team in Cary, NC! This role is onsite. Must have a valid North Carolina multi-state nursing license with no restrictions.

• Counsel and educate new/existing oncology patients on specialty drug therapies via phone (inbound and outbound calls) - No direct patient care or home visits
• Adherence to contracted and accrediting regulations as indicated by drug specification
• Complete, thorough and accurate documentation utilizing good documentation practice and compliance to industry standards and regulations using EMR
• Discuss potential/current side effects with patients to educate about treatment alternatives and facilitate ongoing therapy adherence

• Registered Nurse with current unrestricted multi-state compact state license (NC)
• Oncology and/or Hematology Experience Preferred
• 3+ years of nursing experience with at least 1 year of acute, inpatient care preferred
• Strong Computer skills, including e‑mail, word processing, spreadsheet and web-based programs
• Effective oral and written communication, experience with motivational interviewing preferably
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret practice standards, professional journals, technical procedures and government standards and regulations

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm (1 hour lunch). THIS ROLE IS ONSITE.
