Senior Project Manager - Residential Development Practice Area

Withers Ravenel is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our growing Residential Practice Area! This is a high-impact opportunity to lead large-scale residential, single-family, and townhome development projects while guiding a talented team and influencing the long-term success of the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex residential development projects from planning through construction.
• Prepare, review, and authorize project agreements including scope, schedules, fees, and subconsultant contracts.
• Monitor project financials and proactively navigate scope changes, scheduling shifts, and billing needs.
• Oversee and approve technical deliverables such as designs, construction plans, bid documents, and cost estimates.
• Mentor and coach project team members to support their professional development.
• Ensure adherence to company standards, QA/QC requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Foster strong collaboration and communication across departments to achieve project and organizational goals.
• Strengthen existing client relationships and support strategic business development efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive, professional experience, with significant leadership in project delivery and client management.
• Professional licensure preferred
• Recognized as a industry expert/leader in Practice Area and across company disciplines
• Strong business development record, including growing major accounts.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop emerging leaders and influence organizational culture.
• Strong reputation in the industry through civic, community, or professional engagement

Working Conditions

The assignment may require infrequent evening/weekend work. Candidates should enjoy working in collaborative, fast-paced, and client-driven environment.

Physical Requirements

The assignment may occasionally require repetitive physical tasks (such as operating a computer), standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time, extended time travelling in a vehicle, and carrying equipment and materials up to 25 pounds.
