Role
Open Shift Engineer (Migration Exp)
LocationCary, NC (3 days in office) (Onsite interview)
Contract12+ months of Contract
Non‑negotiable experience- Migration experience in Middleware (Web Sphere) to Open Shift
- Experience in Open Shift implementation, administration, and support
- Experience in workload migration from Middleware WMB to Open Shift
- Working experience in Open Shift and WMB
- Knowledge of CI/CD methodology and tooling (Jenkins, Harness)
- Experience with system configuration tools including Ansible, Chief
- Cluster maintenance and administration experience on Open Shift and Kubernetes
- Development and maintenance in operational condition of Open Shift, Kubernetes orchestral container platforms
- Manage the container platform ecosystem (installation, upgrade, patching, monitoring)
- Check and apply critical patches in Open Shift/Kubernetes
- Troubleshoot issues in Open Shift Clusters
- Perform Root Cause Analysis and produce reports for critical issues
- Ensure the availability of Open Shift clusters
- Strong Knowledge & Experience in RHEL Linux
- Manage Open Shift Management Components and Tenants
- Participate as part of a technical team responsible for the overall support and management of the Open Shift Container Platform
