Position: System Administrator 1 with Security Clearance

Responsibilities
  • Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Manages IT system infrastructure and any related processes.
  • Supports day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
  • Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
  • Supports escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
  • Provides support for dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.
  • Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems, installs and loads OS software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity, configures network components, and implements OS enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
  • Optimizes system operations and resource utilization, and performs system capacity analysis and planning.
Qualifications
  • TS/SCI with agency‑appropriate polygraph;
    United States citizenship and appropriate security clearance are required.
  • Five (5) years of experience with a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Five (5) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Salary and Bonus

This position is eligible for a $5 k bonus and 20 % SEP IRA contribution. Pay Range: $30.96 – $86.53 per hour. Hourly pay rates listed for this position serve as a general guideline and are not a guarantee of compensation; actual compensation may vary based on government contract rates, education, experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
