Overview Of The Technical Implementation SpecialistThe Technical Implementation Specialist is responsible for providing hands‑on technical support during client implementation and onboarding projects. This role works closely with Relationship Managers, Client Support, Product, and IT teams to ensure the successful onboarding of new clients and the rollout of additional services for existing clients. The position is client‑facing and requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent implementation projects.
This is a hybrid position based out of our Cary, NC office location.
- Manage multiple client implementation projects simultaneously, ensuring milestones and timelines are met
- Serve as a technical liaison during client onboarding and implementation calls
- Review inbound client data files for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with specifications
- Provide, review, and maintain technical file specifications for clients and internal stakeholders
- Perform configuration updates in database tables, including basic SQL scripting as needed
- Track implementation tasks, risks, and dependencies across projects
- Partner with Product Support and Client Support teams to address implementation‑related issues
- Assist with post‑implementation transition and internal support requests
- Document implementation processes, configurations, and client‑specific requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience)
- 5+ years of experience supporting technical client implementations or onboarding projects preferably in the financial services, fintech, or investor communications space
- Experience in client‑facing, cross‑functional environments
- Familiarity with structured data files (CSV, fixed‑width, XML)
- Basic working knowledge of SQL or database configuration
- Strong SQL scripting skills and understanding of relational database concepts
- Working knowledge of HTML and Java Script
- Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Net Suite, or similar
- Hands‑on experience using Jira and Service Now for issue tracking and project management
- Experience working in a Linux‑based environment
- Understanding of basic networking concepts (ports, protocols, connectivity troubleshooting)
- Experience supporting SaaS applications, ideally in financial services or fintech
- Strong project coordination and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to translate technical requirements for non‑technical stakeholders
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities
