What are the 3-4 non-negotiable requirements of this position?

1) Two or more years of experience applying User-Centered Design principles to moderately complex interface problems

2) Two or more years of visual interface design as applied to web, mobile, or in-vehicle displays

3) Two or more years of experience working with cross-functional teams, such as: engineering, software development, marketing and business leaders

4) Two or more years of experience translating customer needs into design and articulating that design to technical and non-technical team members

5) Two or more years of experience with technology and product development processes

6) Two+ years of experience and high proficiency with at least two design and rapid-prototyping tools, such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD, or InVision to create user interfaces

This position will be working as UX Designer for Aquent Studios on projects for one of its top clients, located in Cary, NC.

Responsibilities

As a User Experience (UX) Designer, you will support projects of moderate complexity through the development of User Interaction task flows, wireframes, prototypes through to final production for new and existing products.

In addition, you will:

Apply knowledge of usability, human factors, and UI processes to create intuitive user experiences and assist in pre- and post-development usability testing

Create and maintain project and overall system design artifacts

Collaborate with UX Engineers on solution concepts derived from user-centered system requirements

Work closely with engineering and development teams to ensure features are implemented according to specification

Develop and implement process improvements and enhancements

What Skills You Need

Two or more years of experience applying User-Centered Design principles to moderately complex interface problems
