APPLE INC has the following available in Cary, North Carolina. Spearhead design, implementation, and operations for applications built on layer 2/3 networks utilizing BGP/VPC/Spanning-tree in a large, fast-paced datacenter environment. Perform application flows, packet capture, and analysis to troubleshoot complex Data Center Network issues using tools like wireshark. Use virtualization technology in working with network, systems, and storage. Perform advanced routing and switching to design large-scale Data Center Networks.

Plan, build, and maintain network data center infrastructure. Troubleshoot involving Juniper or Cisco firewalls using proven network analysis, evaluation techniques, and fundamental understanding of TCP/IP and application protocols. Solve complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires both identifiable and intangible variables. Solve repeatable, manual processes programmatically by writing scripts or using automated tools including Ansible & Python. Provide technical leadership and knowledge within the network domain and partner with peer groups to evaluate and develop network design and configuration best practices.

Create diagrams and documentation to support the global data center networks. Optimize network infrastructure to provide enhanced availability and performance. Work proactively to identify and prevent issues that impact hosting customers and complete projects to support business initiatives. 40 hours/week.

• 10 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• Experience and/or education must include:
• Utilizing L2 switching technologies (VLAN, Spanning Tree) & L3 Routing protocols (BGP) for Large Scale Data Center Network Design and Implementation)
• Network Operating Systems including Cisco, Juniper, and Arista EOS
• Network Consultation For internal customer's apps
• Designing and Implementing Network Security using Access control lists and firewall appliances
• Network Troubleshooting for Complex Data Center Issues using tools including Wireshark
