Assistant Vice President TS

Overview

DB Global Technology, Inc. seeks an Assistant Vice President in Cary, NC to provide application support for trading and finance applications.

Job Title: Assistant Vice President – TS9389853

• Provide application support for trading and finance applications in a regulated financial services environment.
• Drive automation, enhancement, and efficiency improvements in application monitoring and production processes.
• Implement systems and applications changes, onboarding and offboarding new processes and applications from internal sources and third‑party vendors.
• Coordinate with external auditors to complete compliance and audit requests.
• Operate within the ITIL framework in an Agile production support environment.
• Identify process bottlenecks and risk scenarios; collaborate with stakeholders to implement process improvements for system mapping through automation and workflow enhancements for financial data distribution and Risk/PNL viewer applications.
• Analyze data and identify breach mitigation opportunities and compliance requirements.
• Conduct incident and problem investigations, root cause analysis, and remediation.
• Plan and implement disaster recovery processes for applications.
• Utilize tools and technologies including Service Now, Geneos, JIRA, Confluence, Teams, Putty, Unix, Linux, Windows server, and SQL in executing duties.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent; five (5) years of experience supporting models, risk engines, and real-time pricing and systems applications for a financial services company.
• Employer will accept four (4) years of related work experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
