Mission Solutions SAFe Agile Engineer. Time Type:
Full time.

Location:

Local. Clearance: TS/SCI. This role supports junior developers, works with leadership, and communicates proactively when issues arise. The candidate will be proficient in C, C++, Java, and Python, with growing knowledge of cloud concepts (Infrastructure-, Platform-, and Software-as-a-Service) and Dev Ops pipelines with COTS components.

You are a member of the cross-functional Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Agile Team, focusing on defining and implementing solutions while others handle testing and deployment. The team strives to deliver value in small increments, gaining fast customer feedback and adjusting accordingly.

More about the role:

Agile teams are composed to deliver value with all necessary functions, avoiding handoffs across silos. The team is capable, enabled, and able to:

• Define – From the ART Backlog, create User and Enabler Stories with Acceptance Criteria to guide design.
• Implement – Develop solutions using your Dev Ops pipeline; the pipeline builds, tests, measures, and packages your solution for deployment. Mentorship is possible on both sides.
• Test – Ensure quality and performance; provide support to Test from a Define and Implement perspective.
• Deploy – Deploy increments of value; provide support to Deployment from a Define and Implement perspective.

• Connect with the customer – Build empathy, participate in product definition, and design experiments.
• Plan the work – Support Program Increment Planning and Team Planning for the next increment.
• Deliver the value – Frequently integrate and test, synchronize with other teams, build a continuous delivery pipeline, and release changes to operations.
• Get feedback – Find pathways to the customer and validate technical concerns.
• Improve relentlessly – Engage in routine improvement events and implement improvements promptly.

Required:

• Bachelor of Science in a technical field and five years of experience or nine years of work experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.

Desired:

• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) for Teams training and SAFe Practitioner certification.
• Familiarity with dynamic targeting (F2T2EA
  ), OODA loop, TCPED, and PADITIM Software Development Life Cycle concepts.
