Overview

A dynamic opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) working primarily in school settings. This role involves providing specialized speech and language therapy services to students, supporting their academic and communication development. Based in Cary, NC, the position offers a blend of onsite work within schools and travel to various educational locations, making it ideal for professionals who appreciate diversity and flexibility in their daily schedules.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct speech and language evaluations for students with diverse communication needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students goals.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to ensure comprehensive student support.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary to maximize outcomes.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and prepare reports in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary approaches to student care.
Qualifications And Experience
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Certification (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
  • Licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in North Carolina.
  • Experience working within school environments preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and educators.
  • Ability and willingness to travel between schools as necessary.
