Overview
Responsibilities
- The MRI Technologist operates MRI equipment to produce quality images of designated portions of the body under the direct order of a physician and in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Provides excellent patient care in a timely, professional, efficient and safe manner.
- This position reports to the Mgr, Imaging Services.
Sign-on Bonus Incentive Options for external applicants. Internal, Wake Med employees are not eligible
- $5,000 w/1-year commitment OR
- $10,000 w/2-year commitment OR

- Registered Technologist for Radiography Required - And Registered Technologist in Magnetic Resonance Imaging Required - Or
- Registered Technologist in Nuclear Medicine Technology Required - Or
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Required - And Registered Technologist in Magnetic Resonance Imaging Required
- Must have at time of hire
Education
Accredited Program Radiologic Technology Required - Or Accredited Program Nuclear Medicine Required
Experience
1 Year Clinical - Radiology Preferred
- Registered Technologist for Radiography Required - And Registered Technologist in Magnetic Resonance Imaging Required - Or
- Registered Technologist in Nuclear Medicine Technology Required - Or
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Required - And Registered Technologist in Magnetic Resonance Imaging Required
- Must have at time of hire
