Laboratory Sample Management​/Inventory Specialist

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a biopharmaceutical company in the RTP area who is looking for an Sample Management/Inventory Specialist to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity, working Monday-Friday 7am-4pm, offering excellent benefits. Responsibilities:
Inventory Specialist will maintain accurate inventory of biospecimens across all departments Specialist will execute scheduled cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies within the LIMS Specialist will ensure inventory and billing accuracy Specialist will complete all required documentation for Quality review Specialist will complete all inventory counts and documentation in cold storage areas Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 2-3 years experience in biological sciences or a laboratory environment Candidates must be computer savvy with Microsoft Office Suite; LIMS background preferred Candidates must be familiar with GxP/GMP/GDP requirements Candidates must have a strong understanding of clinical operations, regulations, and terminology, with sample management background Candidates must be comfortable working in cold storage environments, freezers, liquid nitrogen areas Candidates must maintain confidentiality in adherence to HIPPA regulations Candidates must safely handle potentially infectious materials in compliance with OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen guidelines High school diploma or equivalent is required
