Overview

Join a Firm Where Vision Meets Impact. At LEGACYpcs, we don’t just create financial plans — we help clients realize what’s possible when planning is anchored in purpose. We are a high-performing, vision-aligned firm seeking a driven Associate Financial Advisor (AFA) to join our North Carolina-based team.

If you’re someone who values precision, purpose, and potential — and who wants to grow inside one of the top firms nationally recognized by Forbes/Shook Best-In-State and the Million Dollar Round Table Top & Court of the Table — we invite you to explore how you could be part of something transformative.

About Us

LEGACYpcs is a privately held financial and estate planning firm built on decades of rare exposure to elite advisors, pioneering thought leadership, and multi-generational impact. Our Vivid Vision outlines a bold future — delivering 10x impact for clients, partners, and communities, on the way to achieving our 100x mission. We operate on our proprietary systems designed to eliminate fragmentation and amplify transformational outcomes.

Our approach is not fee-only — it’s fee-based and outcome-focused. We’re proud of our reputation for crafting bespoke solutions across wealth, tax, legal, and insurance domains with unmatched integrity and clarity.

What You’ll Do

As an Associate Financial Advisor (AFA), you’ll work directly with our Lead Advisors and our peer collaborators to:

  • Translate Vision to Strategy
Gather and analyze financial data, run scenarios in the planning software (eMoney), and build purpose-driven plans aligned with client values and stewardship goals.

  • Support Client Planning Execution
Prepare financial reports, client-ready proposals, and review documentation to ensure optimal execution and clarity. Participate in meetings and follow through with action items to enhance the client experience.

  • Conduct Research and Provide Strategic Input
Assist in case design by researching insurance, tax, legal, and investment solutions, while contributing to the development of presentations and deliverables.

  • Amplify Human Ingenuity
Collaborate, manage, and support our Planning with Vision™ process using various technologies and software platforms to free capacity, foster critical thinking, and magnify possibilities for our clients, peer collaborators, and each other.

  • Grow as a Future Advisor
Participate in mentorship and ongoing learning to prepare for future advancement. Exceptional candidates may be considered for heightened client-facing roles.

What We’re Looking For
  • 3–6 years of experience in financial services (Insurance-based planning, RIA, or B/D)
  • Strong understanding of integrated planning principles, including complex estate planning strategies, business ownership structures, and succession planning techniques
  • NC Life & Health Insurance License (or ability to obtain within 45 days)
  • FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
  • Completion or pursuit of CFP® or ChFC® preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, eMoney (or comparable planning software), and Salesforce (or similar CRM system)
  • Exceptional attention to detail, written, analytical, and client-service skills
  • Team player who thrives in a culture of excellence, humility, and impact
Why Join LEGACYpcs?
  • Join a Forbes Best-In-State and Top 250 Financial Security Professionals-recognized team.
  • Be mentored by nationally regarded thought leaders
  • Work in a culture of impact, grounded in stewarding unique gifts & talents while elevating outcomes through intentional collaborative excellence.
  • Enjoy a competitive salary, benefits, and structured career development
  • Work on-site in our Cary or New Bern office, within an ecosystem built for clarity, creativity, credibility, and a vision for what is possible

This is not a remote position. Some regional travel may be required for planning sessions, client meetings, or firm retreats. We work Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM, with most major holidays off.
