Pathfinder Wealth Consulting, a fast-growing and established Registered Independent Advisor (RIA), is seeking a Client Services Associate (CSA) to join our team. We specialize in comprehensive financial planning and asset management. Our team of fun, intelligent financial experts operates in a casually professional environment, and we're ready to welcome another qualified individual.
This position is in-office and based at our Cary, North Carolina location (we also have an office in Wilmington, NC).
The CSA will work alongside the Client Services Manager (CSM) to efficiently handle a wide range of client requests and transactions. A core part of the role is cultivating and strengthening client relationships by providing active communication, processing requests, resolving inquiries, offering guidance, and maintaining up-to-date client documentation.
Principal Responsibilities- Onboard and maintain client accounts, including collecting client information and required documentation either in person, or via Docu Sign
- Process money movement including ACH deposits/withdrawals, ACAT transfers, and rollover requests
- Daily, and constant use, of Client Relationship Management (“CRM”) software including data entry and reporting
- Review and take appropriate action on client account alerts and client requests
- Provide office coverage in absence of Office Administrator
- Process variable annuity service related items with various providers
- Process life insurance applications with various insurance companies
- Support Client Services Manager in daily responsibilities, as directed
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of industry experience required (financial services, banking, insurance)
- Intermediate understanding of account movements, trade settlement, and banking transactions
- Additional securities registrations a plus
- Microsoft Office experience
- Outstanding customer service orientation; polished, poised, professional demeanor; energetic and welcoming, easily establishes rapport with clients, vendors, and prospects
- Tech-savvy with the ability to master new systems quickly
- Able to stay focused and self-directed and maintain a high degree of accuracy and efficiency while task-shifting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Certified notary, and love of word puns, also preferred
