Electrical Designer; PE Track

Our 25-person team delivers projects in the office, industrial, retail, healthcare, and municipal sectors, and we are committed to developing the next generation of technical leaders within our firm.

We are seeking an Electrical Designer (2-5 years of experience) who is on a clear path toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure and is interested in developing into a future discipline leader. This role offers hands‑on project responsibility, mentorship from senior engineers, and a defined growth path into leadership.

• Perform electrical design for commercial and institutional building systems
• Develop power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage system designs
• Prepare construction drawings, specifications, and calculations
• Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and architectural teams
• Support construction administration activities
• Participate in client coordination meetings and technical discussions.
• Progress toward managing projects and leading a design team.

• 2-5 years of electrical design experience (consulting engineering preferred)
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months
• Demonstrated path toward PE licensure
• Experience with Revit and AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of NEC and building electrical systems
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Desire to grow into a leadership role.
