Overview

Construction Project Manager K-12 s role is based in the Triangle Area of North Carolina (Raleigh/Durham/Cary) and involves managing a large-scale K12 Capital Construction Program as an onsite Owners Representative.

• Ensure the progress and technical performance of a project, including contract management, project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Manage change management, project governance, and successful turnover to the client.
• Oversee project development from conception through completion in alignment with program objectives.
• Provide construction oversight, resolve complex project-related issues, mentor emerging professionals, and build long-term client relationships.
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, project managers, and contractors to deliver bold solutions for daily operations.

• Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline, Construction Management, or Architecture
• 5+ years of experience in construction with multiple phases of large-scale building/rehabilitation projects (7+ years preferred)
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, demonstrate leadership, and resolve critical issues for the project and client
• Strong knowledge of pre-design/pre-construction, contract management, project delivery methods, building systems/components and technology

• Prior experience with K-12 building construction or other public projects
• Certifications such as CCM, PMP, PE or Architect license/certification

The base salary range for this position is $ to $. Within the range, pay is determined by work location and factors such as job-related skills, experience, and education or training.
