As an Electrical Project Engineer you will act as a Technical Specialist or Project Lead on high‑voltage substation projects up to 765 kV. Your role will include detailed engineering design, procurement support, quality review, mentorship, client coordination, budget and schedule management, and business development support.

• Provide technical guidance on substation design guides, standards, codes, and B&V policies.
• Prepare engineering deliverables such as protection and control designs, physical layouts, grounding, lightning protection, and auxiliary power systems.
• Perform or oversee quality review of electrical substation design packages.
• Mentor junior team members and coordinate with internal/external stakeholders.
• Prepare electrical equipment specifications, Bills of Materials, and support procurement and construction.
• Communicate and coordinate project activities with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Present proposals, designs, and project activities to clients.
• Travel to client and vendor offices or project sites as required for reviews and field verification.
• Prepare and manage design budgets and schedules.
• Support business development or pursuit activities.

• Experience designing high‑voltage (HV) substations, both physical and protection & controls.
• Project lead and technical specialist experience overseeing utility substation clients and projects.
• QA/QC review experience.
• Experience coordinating and communicating with clients, multidisciplinary leads, and project managers.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proficient with Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
• Ability to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (background checks, drug screen, motor‑vehicle record search).
• Active engineering registration or licensure to serve as Engineer of Record for BV projects in applicable countries.

Active engineering registration or licensure to support Engineer of Record (EOR) requirements for BV projects in applicable countries.

Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments.
