Customer Service Engineer III - MR - Washington, D.C.

Performs technical, mainly pre-defined tasks for accomplishing defined service delivery work for customer equipment.

• Servicing MR equipment in the D.C. metro area. Customer Service Engineer level based on prior experience.
• Field-based, customer-facing role that installs, services, maintains and modifies Siemens imaging equipment at customer sites.
• Deliver timely and effective repairs and train operators to ensure optimal system performance and high customer satisfaction.
• Manage financial performance within the territory, meeting or exceeding budget for revenue generation, expense control and inventory management.
• Manage company assets (e.g., company car, cell phone, computer, tools, inventory parts).
• Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, and perform necessary administrative duties accurately.

• Knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance and modifications on Medical Imaging Equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.
• Ability to establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, plus accurate administrative duties.
• Experience in testing, repairing and maintaining capital medical equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency with tools and service test equipment.
• Minimum high school diploma, technical degree or equivalent experience; 1-2+ years of field service experience is desired.
• Ability to travel to assigned geography; willingness to participate in on-call rotation after training and certification.
• Valid driver's license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record.
• Physical requirements:
  
  lifting 50 lbs, walking, climbing, bending, twisting, standing, fine grasping, good vision, and ability to work alone.

The base pay range for this position is $74,300 - $102,168. Factors affecting starting pay include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. The company offers benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life, disability, paid parking/public transportation, paid time off and paid sick and safe time. If applicable, commissions are based on individual and/or company performance.
